Part Time Firefighters
The Marysville Fire District is seeking Part Time Firefighters. The Fire District is actively recruiting those with an Emergency Medical Technician certification and Firefighter I certification. The Fire District is also seeking those who are certified as Emergency Medical Technicians who are in the process of completing the Firefighter I certification process.
The Marysville Fire District is accepting applications for an immediate fulltime Journeyman Level Mechanic position. This position is responsible for the maintenance, repair, rebuild, and servicing of all assigned equipment and facilities. Minimum Qualifications: CDL, Three years as a full time diesel or automotive mechanic. Knowledge of the practices, methods, tools, and materials used in the maintenance of fire equipment and vehicles, operating principles of gasoline and diesel engines. Class B commercial driver’s license with air brakes endorsement, high school diploma or equivalent, successful competition of: Level 1 EVT certification within one year; Level II EVT certification within two years; Level III EVT certification within three years. Benefits include: WA State Public Employee Retirement System, matching 457 deferred compensation, paid vacation and sick leave, and an excellent healthcare package. $5,500 per month.
