|What||Provides the opportunity for high school and college age (14-21) students to become familiar with career opportunities
in the fire service and related fields.
|Who||Anyone, male/female, aged 14-21 years that has completed the eighth grade. Candidates must pass a background check.
Candidates must also possess and maintain a cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.0 or better.
|When||Applications are accepted at anytime with new members generally added early in the calendar year.
|How||A member may stay with the program for as long as he/she is a member in good standing and under the age of 21. A member
is required to leave the program if they become a career or volunteer firefighter.
|Where||Meetings and training activities are held at various fire stations in North Snohomish County Fire District 14 and
Marysville Fire District 12.
|Why||It is a great way for young adults to prepare for a possible career in the fire service or related fields.
