Firefighters stop fire from spreading to home, cause undetermined

MARYSVILLE, Washington (December 3, 2018) – The cause of a structure fire in the 9700 block of 50th Avenue NE is undetermined, after an initial investigation by the Snohomish County Fire Marshal’s Office.

 

Fire fully consumed an outdoor building on the property shortly after 3 p.m. Saturday. Firefighters worked quickly to stop the fire from spreading to the main home, just feet away. The home received only minor damage. No one was injured.

 

Estimated damage is approximately $50,000. Both Arlington and Getchell (Fire District 22) firefighters provided mutual aid.
