You can't turn back the hands of time, but you can take steps to help stay active and independent by preventing falls.

 

Falls are a major threat to the health and independence for adults ages 65 and older. They're the leading cause of injury-related hospitalizations of older adults in our state. Falls are not a normal part of the aging process and can be prevented!

For many older adults, falls are caused by gradual health changes related to aging such as chronic health conditions, medication use and changes in muscle strength, balance, vision and walking ability.
