There for You 24/7

Our firefighters staff five strategically located fire stations 24 hours each day, 365 days per year to provide prompt emergency response. All firefighters are certified as either emergency medical technicians to provide basic life support services or paramedics to provide advanced life support. Most of the 911 calls we receive are medical emergencies.

Preventing Emergencies Before They Happen

While our firefighters stand ready to respond to all types of emergencies, we’re also here to help you stop those emergencies from happening in the first place. Our prevention and education services include business inspections, plan reviews, employee fire extinguisher training, school safety visits, fire station tours, car seat checks, smoke alarm installations, blood pressure checks, and a bike helmet program.

Created by Voters

Marysville Fire District is a Regional Fire Authority (RFA) created by voters in April 2019. An RFA is a special purpose district – similar to a school district – formed by the official merger of fire services in the City of Marysville and Snohomish County Fire District 12. We also have a contract to provide services for Quil Ceda Village and a portion of the Tulalip Indian Reservation. We are governed by a Board of Directors that includes 4 members from the Marysville City Council, 1 Snohomish County Fire District 12 Commissioner and 1 non-voting Fire District 12 Commissioner.

Dedicated to Transparency

As stewards of your tax dollars, Marysville Fire District is dedicated to transparency and accountability. In 2018, we accepted the State Auditor’s Stewardship Award in honor of dedication to the audit process. The district has reported clean audits its entire 27-year history.
